题目：A Unified Monetarist DSGE Theory for CBDC

讲座简介：

This paper develops a monetarist DSGE model to study the macro implications of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), incorporating search-theoretic micro-foundations for digital payments and a banking sector with financial frictions. Households allocate consumption, deposits, bonds, and CBDC across centralized (CM) and decentralized (DM) markets, where liquidity constraints and bargaining determine transaction outcomes. The banking sector follows a Gertler–Karadi framework with net worth dynamics, leverage, and incentive constraints, augmented to include CBDC and reserve holdings. The model will be calibrated to the Chinese economy to examine the impact of two-tier CBDC to monetary policy transmission and draw policy implications from the quantitative exercises.

个人简介：

何晖，国际货币基金组织（IMF）货币与资本市场部高级经济学家，华中科技大学兼职教授。曾任中国—IMF能力建设中心主任、IMF能力建设学院高级经济学家和经济学家、上海交通大学上海高级金融学院研究员、上海财经大学h视频 副教授、美国夏威夷大学马诺阿分校助理教授，并曾赴宾夕法尼亚大学、南加州大学访问研究。2007年获美国明尼苏达大学经济学博士学位，此前获北京大学经济学学士、硕士学位。主要研究领域包括宏观经济学、劳动经济学、健康经济学、中国经济与计算经济学，研究成果发表于International Economic Review、Journal of Development Economics、Journal of Monetary Economics、European Economic Review、Review of Economic Dynamics等国际期刊。
